This course is an introduction to the creative interpretation of music using multi- camera techniques. This course gives participants two practical opportunities to direct a band.

The aim of this course is to develop creative interpretation of music through multi-camera direction. By the end of this course, delegates will have gained practical experience and confidence in: directing a live TV performance by a band in scripted and non- scripted numbers, bar counting, camera scripting for music, and creative multi-camera interpretation of music.

Delegates are advised to complete the BBC Safety Course or equivalent, such as Risk Management of Productions Part 1 and 2 or Safe Management of Live Events (Part 2) courses before they attend this course.
