This two day workshop will cover all the essential skills of combining words and pictures to tell compelling stories. It will combine clip analysis and examples of best practice from recent output with a number of intensive, practical exercises.
The aims of this course are to develop the skills and techniques to write creatively and effectively for television, and to know how to write a script to enhance viewer engagement, understanding and enjoyment.
By the end of this course participants will have the skills and confidence to tell more interesting stories on television and rediscover the pleasure of creative writing.
Learn the skills to become a creative workshop facilitator, a fully practical and intensive course taking the participants through the facilitation process and putting theory into practise at each key stage. Each participant will facilitate an “ideas generation” session.

Anyone who is likely to be asked to run ideas generation sessions in their company, department or team, and would like to learn how to do it in a more professional way.
- To give participants a clear understanding of a 'professional' end to end facilitation process.
- To consider how we think and how to 'trick' our brains into being truly creative by using stimulus techniques.
- To explore how best to 'manage' and get the best out of brainstorm participants to achieve positive outcomes.
