The course provides firsthand experience on company news and capital market reporting and a grounding in best corporate governance practices, standards and issues.

Based on the view that “better companies make better societies”, this course on coporate governance reporting seeks to draw on journalists’ unique ability to disseminate information on corporate governance to the business community and to the wider reading public. Recent global events have served to make citizens well aware of how companies’ and banks’ activities can have a significant impact on society – and the training looks at how journalists need to be vigilant in identifying and reporting corporate governance flaws.  The course provides firsthand experience on company news and capital market reporting and a grounding in best corporate governance practices, standards and issues. It looks at how journalists have a role in creating transparency and accountability.
