An introductory practical grounding in location sound recording for self shooting production staff including, as far as possible, bespoke elements to meet the individual needs of delegates.

The location sound recording course is aimed at those who are already self shooting or are part of a self shooting team and want to extend their knowledge of sound recording & acquisition techniques, but it is not designed to turn people into location sound recordists

The aims of this location sound recording course are:

• to understand the basic principles of location sound recording 
• to choose and deploy appropriate and commonly used equipment 
• recognise and correct common faults
