The content of each session is prepared by the course instructors to meet the needs of the participants and can be devised in consultation with partners or workshop sponsors, where appropriate. As with all Reuters Journalism courses, training combines practical exercises with discussion, theory lectures and contributions from guest experts.

Codes of conduct (one day): a review of codes for journalists in different countries and exploration of why codes matter.
Feature writing (two days): how to create interest and techniques for researching and writing compelling features.
Investigative reporting (two days): how to gather and verify information, build a story, report accurately and fairly and follow-up outcomes. Avoiding legal dangers and staying safe.
Copy editing / sub-editing (two days): how to edit copy effectively, without distorting or misrepresenting it; dangers to watch out for; spotting the gaps.
