Creativity is at the heart of content production. Making distinctive programmes, developing fresh approaches to websites, delivering exciting on-air promotions or setting trends for new services on mobile: whatever your goals you will need to take creative risks. This courses will help you to generate new ideas, find new ways to solve problems and keep on doing it.

Creativity is all about curiosity, wondering ‘why’? We all have it, but sometimes other skills take over and may even stop us from being creative. Being logical and sensible and following reason is good, but when you want to be more creative – you need to start thinking differently.

who it's for:

  • Anyone who needs to come up with creative ideas on a regular basis: TV development producers, researchers, new media companies, marketing and advertising personnel.
  • Anyone who would like to improve their creative thinking and problem solving skills.

This is a practical, participative course where delegates are encouraged to experiment and work actively together.

  • To enable delegates to use a number of different techniques to generate and develop ideas
  • To understand the stages in a creative process and how to use them effectively
  • To find out how to turn creative sparks into something useful, original and marketable.
  • To encourage different ways of working which offer fresh and different approaches to generating ideas
