SAE Institute Dubai first opened its doors in 2005 and is located in Dubai’s Knowledge Village. It is quality assured by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority and is a branch of SAE Institute Australia, an Australian government approved licensed and accredited higher education provider, and SAE Institute UK, a British Accreditation Council approved higher education provider whose courses are accredited by Middlesex University.

In July 2011 twofour54 acquired the Dubai business of the SAE Institute. This acquisition by twofour54 is an acknowledgement of the high quality education and training offered by SAE Institute Dubai.
