Through the Reuters news agency, it supplies video, graphics, photographs and around eight million words daily, in 20 languages, to media organisations around the globe. For more than 150 years Reuters has been a byword for speed, accuracy and impartiality.

These highly-valued qualities are in demand from other journalists and their employers and since 1982 Thomson Reuters Foundation has been sharing Reuters skills with trainees drawn from more than 171 countries. To date more than 4,500 journalists have taken part in Reuters Journalism Programmes conducted at locations around the world, including MENA.
