
During his time with the BBC Andy has technically managed a number of high profile New Media Conferences within the BBC which included; Digital Rights Management, Building Digital Social Networks in the UK, and Search and Findability.
In Mid 2002 Andy started working with BBC New Media on Interactive Television Production Tools, working with Producers to creatively experiment with new content production systems and technologies, and their integration into BBC production areas. Andy now runs a pan-BBC project training and mentoring staff in developing, producing and delivering multiplatform programmes.
Andy has presented analysis of the UK Interactive Television Market for iTap 2003/2004 at Universidade Lusfona, to Taiwanese Broadcasters in Taipei, to MediaCorp in Singapore and to senior managers at South African Broadcasting Corporation. He has been a mentor and project manager on the European Union CIATV/ European Concept Development Course and Cross Media Master Classes working with different broadcasters across Europe in Interactive Television and Online.

Managing the range of Interactive Television courses and bespoke learning opportunities that are offered by BBC Training and Development within the BBC and to external clients and broadcasters.. Client management and intensive project management are a core part of this role, ensuring that the BBC has the best possible support, informed by BBC iTV, available as quickly as possible in a dynamic and ever-changing industry.

Working as a project manager to supervise the re-generation, re-launch, and subsequent management of a training resource.
April 2000 – June 2000 Production Management Systems Operator, Aardman Features
Working on feature ‘Chicken Run’, the role involved liaising with Assistant Directors to compile a database of production schedules and timesheets to present to the financiers, documenting the productivity of the production, and creating a financing template for future feature films.
