Mohammad Zaher

Mohammad is an avid blogger and an active twitterati. In 2010, Social Media ME listed Zaher as one of the region’s top 15 influencers.


Zaher has 7 years of experience in Social Media, PR and Digital Consultancy. As the Associate Director of Social Media at Omnicom Media Group, Zaher’s responsible for guiding clients and training team members on international best practice, with regards to social media engagement. Throughout this period, he has worked on international brands such as Pepsi, du, Arla, Virgin Mobile, Qtel, NIVEA, Porsche and Abu Dhabi TV.

A media communications and public relations specialist, Zaher played an important role in Google’s initial roll out in the region between 2007 and 2009 – working closely with them in launching over 25 arabised products. Throughout this time, he media trained Google’s corporate spokespeople for the Middle East.

Zaher has also managed PR for Atlantis and was Technology Editor at PC Magazine.
Zaher holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from The American University of Sharjah, and a Master in International Business from the University of Wollongong.
