
David has an intimate knowledge of the Middle East and its language, its culture and its politics. He has lived and worked in Cairo where he learnt to read, write and speak Arabic. He worked as Middle East Correspondent for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, a role which brought him into contact with the leaders and the people of the region.
David has worked as a trainer of Arab journalists and is the author of a major study on the impact which the New Media (satellite television and the internet) is having on Arab society and on the practice of journalism in the Arab world.
In his role as tadreeb’s Business Development Manager, David works with tadreeb’s media partners to develop first-class training solutions, which are tailored to the particular needs of Middle Eastern media organisations, now and into the future.
